Terms of service
These terms govern the contracting of DigitalBye services. By contracting, you accept the following terms:
1. Subject matter
The services offered are: digital footprint audit, template and guided documents kit, comprehensive case management (delisting & source requests) and monitoring. All are administrative management and processing services; they do not constitute legal advice.
2. Quote and payment
Each engagement is quoted individually after the free evaluation, in writing and with no obligation. Payment terms are agreed in writing before any work begins.
3. Delivery
Delivery timeframes for each engagement are set out in writing when the quote is accepted. Response times of search engines, editors and authorities are outside our control; we will keep you informed of progress at all times.
4. Guarantee and withdrawal
If a deliverable contains errors attributable to our work, we correct it or refund the corresponding part, as agreed in the engagement. Applicable consumer law applies, including the digital-content withdrawal regime of Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16).
5. Results
The outcome of delisting, removal or cancellation requests depends on third parties (search engines, editors, authorities) and on the balancing between your right and the public interest. DigitalBye does not guarantee specific results, but does guarantee rigorous, verifiable work: grounded requests, follow-up and complaint to the authority where applicable.
6. Confidentiality
All information provided by the client is confidential and processed in accordance with the privacy policy. The client agrees to provide truthful information and real documentation.
7. Complaints
For any issue, write to [email protected]. We'll get back to you as soon as possible. You may also contact the competent consumer authorities.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the data controller is established and by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — see section 6 of the Legal Notice. As a consumer, you may bring claims before the courts of your place of residence, in accordance with consumer protection law.
If the free evaluation shows that your case has no viable route, no engagement is formalised and nothing is charged. If an ongoing engagement cannot continue for reasons attributable to DigitalBye, the unexecuted proportion is refunded.
